Sea is a bilingual litigator with experiences litigating complex commercial cases, including contract, fraud, fiduciary duties, corporate governance and securities law. Sea has studied and worked in US, China and Australia, such background allows her to litigate complicated cases internationally. Sea has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, which gives her a unique ability to anticipate strategies and techniques used by opposing counsel. Representing plaintiffs, she has obtained injunction orders to freeze defendants’ assets and thus prevents defendants’ further misappropriations. She has also coordinated counsel in other jurisdictions such as UK, Hong Kong and Macau to successfully obtain ancillary reliefs based on a main proceeding filed in the US. Representing defendants, she has obtained settlements before the plaintiffs ever filed a lawsuit, dismissals with prejudice at the pleading stage, and summary judgment disposing of the claims. Other than civil litigation, Sea has extensive experiences on immigration and criminal proceedings as well.

Sea has over 20 years of experience practicing U.S. immigration law and is highly proficient in handling a wide range of immigrant and nonimmigrant visa matters. Her areas of expertise include Extraordinary Ability Immigration (EB-1A), Multinational Executive and Manager Immigration (EB-1C), Employment-Based Immigration (PERM/EB-2/EB-3), Investment Immigration (EB-5), Family-Based Immigration (F and IR categories), Adjustment of Status, as well as various work and student visa applications such as H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2, F-1, and M-1.

She is particularly skilled in managing complex and challenging cases, including Requests for Evidence (RFEs), motions to reopen or reconsider denials, and cases undergoing administrative processing. She remains highly attuned to changes in immigration policy, regulatory updates, and strategic case planning. With a meticulous approach to application preparation and a strong command of legal documentation and evidentiary presentation, she provides tailored immigration strategies based on each client’s unique background.

Drawing on her deep legal knowledge and extensive practical experience, Attorney Chen has successfully assisted thousands of clients in obtaining U.S. immigration or visa status.
